Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple

The Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple is one of the "Divya Desams", the 108 temples of Vishnu revered by the 12 poet saints, or Alwars located nearAranmula, a village in Pathanamthitta DistrictKeralaSouth India. Constructed in the Kerala style of architecture, the temple is glorified in the Divya Prabandha, the early medieval Tamil canon of the Azhwar saints from the 6th–9th centuries AD. It is one of the 108 Divyadesam dedicated to Krishna, an avatar of Vishnu, who is worshipped as Parthasarathy. The nearest railway station to the temple is located in Chengannur, while the nearest airport isTrivandrum International Airport.
Parthasarathy is the other name of Krishna on account of his role as Arjuna's Charioteer in the Mahabharata war. It is one of the most important Krishnatemples in Kerala, the others being at Guruvayur TempleTrichambaram Temple, Tiruvarppu and Ambalappuzha Sri Krishna Temple. It is one of the five ancient shrines in the Chengannur area of Kerala, connected with the legend of Mahabharata, where the five Pandavas are believed to have built one temple each; Thrichittatt Maha Vishnu Temple by YudhishthiraPuliyur Mahavishnu Temple by Bheema, Aranmula by ArjunaThiruvanvandoor Mahavishnu Temple by Nakula and Thrikodithanam Mahavishnu Temple toSahadeva.
The sacred jewels, called Thiruvabharanam of Ayyappan are taken in procession to Sabarimala each year from Pandalam, and Aranmula Temple is one of the stops on the way. Also, the Thanka Anki, golden attire of Ayyappa, donated by the king of Travancore, is stored here and taken to Sabarimala during the Mandala season of late December. Aranmula is also known for snake boat race held every year during Onam linked to the legends of theMahabharata. The temple has four towers over its entrances on its outer wall. The Eastern tower is accessed through a flight of 18 steps and the Northern tower entrance flight through 57 steps leads to the Pampa River. The temples have paintings on its walls dating back to early 18 century.
The temple is open from 4 am to 11:00 am and 5 pm to 8 pm and is administered by Travancore Devaswom Board of the Government of Kerala.

Sarkara devi Temple,Chirayinkeezhu

Sarkara devi Temple is one of the most important temples in South India. It is situated South of the Chirayinkeezhu Taluk (in the North-West ofThiruvananthapuram district). The nearest town is Attingal and Varkala. Tradition accords a remote antiquity to this temple. Its main deity is Bhadrakali. The Sarkaradevi Temple assumed a significant status for many reasons and rose to historical importance mainly with the introduction of the famous Kaliyoot festival by Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma, the Travancoresovereign, in 1748.The Sarkaradevi Temple have some basic attachment with Nakramcode Devi Temple which located in Avanavanchery,Attingal.













Kanichukulangara Bhagwathy Temple

Kanichukulangara Temple (referred to as Kanichukulangara Bhagwathy Temple)  is a famous temple of the Hindumother goddess Bhagawathi. The temple is located near Cherthala in Alappuzha district of Kerala in India. The main festival is celebrated on the day of "Thiruvonam" in the Malayalam month "Kumbham". The temple is famous for 'Chikkara', 'Pongala', 'Thooka Chadu' and Fire Works . The temple is 8 km away from Cherthala and 18 km away from Alappuzha.









Thiruvambadi Sri Krishna Temple

Thiruvambadi Sri Krishna Temple(തിരുവമ്പാടി ക്ഷേത്രം) is a Hindutemple located in City of Thrissur in KeralaIndia. The temple is one of the two rival groups participating in Thrissur Pooram, which is the biggest local festival in KeralaBhagavad Gita chanting makes the temple always alive.Every day the Devaswom is giving free lunch(പ്രസാദം) to people(ഭക്തര്‍). The straight road opposite to the temple leads to Poonkunnam Railway station and further up to Poonkunnam junction. From there people can catch train or bus to Guruvayoor temple.Behind the temple there is a temple forGanesh(ഗണപതി അമ്പലം) . The dress code is a must inside the temple No pants or modern dresses allowed.The name of the parallel road in front of the temple is Shornur road,leading to Vadakunnatan temple on one side and Paturaikkal and then to Shornur on the other.

Parassinikadavu Muthappan temple

Muthappan Temple, also called Parassinikadavu Muthappan temple is a Hindu temple, located at Anthoor Municipality on the banks of the Valapattanam river about 10 km from Taliparamba and 16 km from KannurCorporation in Kannur DistrictKerala. Principal deity of the temple is Sree Muthappan, a manifestation of two mythical characters called Thiruvappanaand Vellattam. According to the local tradition the presiding deity is a folk deity and not a vedic deity, but there are recent attempts to associate the deity toVishnu or Shiva.
